Went to a dog meetup 2 weekends ago and snapped some photos. I wanted to share these two photos with everyone of my #2 and #3 most favorite dogs in the world. (Sorry Jackson and Riley, Katie will always be #1!)
For the technical side of things, these were both shot with a 70-300mm lens around the 150 mark or so. Both were shot at roughly 5.6. The ISO was relatively high due to the gloomy day. For shutter speed, a good rule of thumb is to always be shooting at least as fast as your focal length. So if you are shooting at 200mm your shutter speed should be AT LEAST 1/200th of a second. I say at least because today with the huge sensors our cameras have, camera shake is even more noticeable.
Post processing was all handled in Lightroom. They were slightly warmed up with the temperature slider, to help with the gloomy cold look of the day. As well as a slight bump in saturation and contrast.
